THE PRESERVE AT LAKE THOMAS HOA contracts with Waste Connections
for its garbage, yard-waste and recycling services.
Please familiarize yourself with the following helpful details:

Solid waste & yard debris collections take place on Tuesday & Friday. Collections will begin no earlier than 6 a.m.

Trash should not be out prior to 6 p.m., the day before collection.

A total of six (6) items can be put out on the trash pick-up days inclusive of trash cans, bags, or bundles under 50 lbs each. Total material should not exceed 3 cubic yards. Residents provide their own containers.

Individual brush and tree branch bundles must be cut to 4 foot lengths, tied together, and not exceed 6 inches in diameter. Grass and leaves must be in containers or bags.

Items to be excluded from collection, include: tree stumps, tires, auto batteries, concrete, blocks, bricks, paints, chemicals, flammable liquids, explosives, biomedical waste, and other material deemed unacceptable by Pasco County Solid Waste Authority.

Waste Connections observes the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Should any of these holidays fall on a collection day, there will be no collection made. Collection will resume on the next scheduled collection day.

Recycling Schedule:

Recycling in separate containers is collected by separate truck on Wednesday of each week, and must be left at the curb no later than 6:00 PM on collection day.

Accepted items include plastics # 1-5 and #7, aluminum, and paper/cardboard, loosely put in a container.

Cardboard boxes must be broken down, flattened and stacked.

Glass is not accepted per County ordinance.
